Second Hand Soul Plays Free Concert On Palos Park Village Green

Dig out the picnic baskets and bring your blankets for a Ravania-style concert this Thursday, June 20, on the Palos Park Village Green.

PALOS PARK, IL -- Dig out the picnic baskets, grab a blanket and head over to the Palos Park Village Green this Thursday, June 20 for a Ravinia-style concert under the stars. Palos Fine Arts and the Village of Palos Park present Second Hand Soul for an evening of Motown, soul and rock from the 1960s and 1970s era. The concert is FREE.

Second Hand Soul plays the “songs you remember from the nights you don’t.” This energetic, 7-piece band will get you out on the dance floor singing and dancing to the funky hits of 70s, the one-hit wonders, disco and soulful songs of the era. Audience members may be recruited to play the tambourine with the band.

Guests will be welcomed starting at 5:30 p.m. for picnicking and pre-concert activities. The concert starts at 7 p.m. Bring your snacks, beverages, blankets, lawn chairs, and maybe some plastic to sit on. The Palos Park Village Green is located at 8901 W. 123rd St.
