Sell Your Treasures At The First-Ever Palos Hills Bargain Days

PALOS HILLS, IL — Do you have stuff accumulating in your basement or garage? Gather your treasures and join the first, community-wide garage sale in Palos Hills, Aug. 13 through Aug. 15. All Palos Hills residents are welcome to participate.

Palos Hills Bargain Days is being organized by residents, and the city has waived the garage sale permit fee for that weekend. Fill out the form here and get your sale on the list. There is no fee to participate in the community-wide garage sale

“We expect lots of sellers and lots of shoppers,” said Dawn Williams, one of the organizers and admin of the Palos Hills Neighborhood Resources Facebook group. “We’re trying to bring neighbors together.”

Also needed are volunteers to help pass out fliers. If you’re an incoming high school sophomore, junior or senior looking to earn some community service hours, or for questions regarding the community-wide garage sale, reach out to Dawn Williams at 773-234-2434.

So far, 50 residents hosting garage/yard sales have signed up, but the more, the merrier. The list of garage sales will be available in print, social media and Palos Patch.
