Senior Citizen Shoved In Fight Over Washing Machine At Laundromat

PALOS HILLS, IL — Palos Hills police are investigating an aggravated battery against a senior citizen that took place in a laundromat.

Officers went to the Laundry Bar, 8118 W. 111th St., for a report of a disturbance. An elderly man told police he was waiting for his clothes to finish washing when a woman tried removing his clothes from the washer.

As the man tried to explain to the woman that his clothes were still in the machine, the report said she began arguing and shoved him.

The woman had already gathered her belongings and left the laundromat before officers arrived, police said. The older man suffered cuts on his arm.
