September is Library Card Sign-Up Month @ Green Hills Public Library!

To celebrate, new cardholders who sign-up for a Library card during the month of September will receive a Green Hills welcome bag!

September Is Library Card Sign-Up Month
During the month of September, the Green Hills Public Library District is joining the American Library Association and libraries nationwide to encourage readers of every generation to cultivate their curiosity and sign up for their very own library card! To celebrate National Library Card Sign-Up Month, each person registering as a new cardholder will receive a welcome bag with welcome materials, while supplies last.

How Do I Get a Library Card?
Visit the Patron Services Desk on the 2nd floor of the Library with one document establishing residency within the District (Hickory Hills and Palos Hills) and a photo ID. Applicants under 18 require a parent or guardian to be present. For more information, please contact Patron Services in-person, or call 708-598-8446 ext. 110.

The Library is More Than Just Books!
From borrowing books, ebooks, movies, music, and passes to Illinois attractions to getting homework help, learning a new skill, or attending a program, a library card helps you discover and do more of what you enjoy. With a library card, you can dive into a new hobby or interest. Get a library card and you can attend a free program and spark your creativity. A library card opens your world and everyone should have one!
