Services Set for Beloved Sandburg Coach

Visitation and funeral services have been made for a beloved Sandburg High School swimming and water polo coach who died Saturday.

Visitation for Jane Caliendo, 46, will be held Wednesday from 3 to 9 p.m., at Robery J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st Street in Orland Park. Funeral will be held Thursday at 8:30 a.m., from the funeral home to St. Michael Church, with Mass at 9:30 a.m.

Caliendo lost her battle with cancer Saturday, according to social media updates from family and friends. Wife of Jim Caliendo and mother of Maggie and stepmother to Jamie and Jason, Caliendo coached and taught at Sandburg for 22 years.
