Shepard hosts parent forum on school safety
Meet our new security director: Experience at Dept. of Homeland Security, police officer, and security director in District 99.
To review safety protocols and assure parents and students of the level of security on campus, Shepard High School Principal Dr. Josh Barron hosted a forum on Thursday, October 8 to talk and listen.
Parents also listened as Ericka Arocho, the Director of Security at Shepard, outlined the quality of security on campus. Arocho works from a wealth of experience:
- U.S. Department of Homeland Security;
- City of Evanston, police officer;
- Director of Security, District 99 in Cicero, which includes the second largest junior high school in America.
