Shop For Junk You Need At Palos Hills Bargain Days And Flea Market

PALOS HILLS, IL — You won’t have to go far to find a treasure this weekend. Residents have cleaned out their attics, garages and basements for Palos Hills Bargain Days and the first ever Palos Hills Flea Market this weekend.

Dozens of garage and yard sales have signed up to participate in the community-wide garage sale, Palos Hills Bargain Days, Friday, May 12, and Saturday, May 13. Most sales will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days; some residents may skip Friday and sell only on Saturday.

Thrifty shoppers will find children and adult clothing, baby things, accessories (purses, belts, jewelry), bikes, antiques, vintage housewares, furniture, pet supplies, tools, books, CDs, DVDs, patio furniture, and even a lawnmower. Make the rounds with a list of things you need, or just go with an open mind.

Concurrent with the community-wide garage sale, Palos Hills will be kicking off its first-ever flea market selling junk you may need Saturday, May 13. The flea market runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Palos Hills Community Center, 8455 W. 103rd St.
