Silent Auction Opens For The Center's Virtual 'A Night To Linger'

PALOS HILLS, IL — The online auctions are now open for The Center in Palos Park’s virtual benefit, “A Night To Linger,” from 5 to 8 p.m. Feb. 17. The Center will be adding auction prizes throughout the week. Proceeds will benefit The Center’s scholarships to send deserving local kids in need to farm and ranch camp this summer.

Items to be auctioned during the virtual event will include gift cards from Crate & Barrel, Starbucks, local hair salons, tickets to Brookfield Zoo, and more. Start the bidding.

The Center in Palos Park is hosting a virtual fundraiser to support the camp scholarship fund from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17. "A Night To Linger" aims to raise $50,000, to send deserving local kids in need to farm and ranch camp this summer, which has been exhausting kids with fun since 1932.

Tickets to the camp scholarship fundraiser are $25 and can be purchased online. The benefit will be streamed via Zoom starting at 5 p.m. Thursday.

A donor has also pledged to match the first $10,000 of contributions to the camp scholarship 2022 fundraiser. Also, all other contributions for 2022 will also be matched. A $25 contribution will now be worth $50 to a camp child. Donors may give any amount of their choosing.
