The Southwest Symphony Orchestra presents "The American Experience"

The SSO highlights American composers featuring guest artists Poet, Judyth Hill and CSO Principal Trumpet, Christopher Martin

The Southwest Symphony Orchestra presents "The American Experience", April 3 at Trinity Christian College Ozinga Chapel, 6601 West College Drive, Palos Heights, IL at 4:00PM. This concert will feature a world premiere performance of "Wage Peace" composed by SSO Conductor David Crane integrating the poem of the same title by internationally acclaimed poet Judyth Hill. The composition also features Christopher Martin, Principal Trumpet of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra who is also featured in "JFK" Main Theme and Suite from "Lincoln" by John Williams. Other selections include Copland's-Fanfare for the Common Man, William Schuman's-New England Triptych, Peters-Rocky Mountain Suite, and Grofe's Mississippi Suite.
