St. Patricia Students Celebrate our Community
Collecting food items for Together We Cope, students focus on how they can serve those in need.

St. Patricia’s 3rd – 8th graders Celebrated our Community during Catholic School’s Week by completing a service project for Together We Cope in Tinley Park, IL. Our students collected non-perishable food items for donation to the food pantry, which helps feed nearly 5,000 people a month—our neighbors in 27 south suburban communities, many of whom could not put food on the table without help.
One of the pillars of Catholic education is the value of service. At St. Patricia School, we know that engaging young people in their community strengthens their character, builds compassion and empathy, and helps them to grow into adults who take on an active role in the world. We are not just educating the mind, but the spirit of our student.
