Stagg Color Guard Looking For New Members

Workshops for the 2016-2017 Stagg High School Color Guard are coming up soon!

The Stagg Color Guard is a performing group that attends all home football games, local parades, and contests across Illinois.  The Guard is holding workshops to look for potential new members for the 2016-2017 school year.  Workshops will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, May 10, 11, 17, and 18 from 6-8:30pm in the Stagg South Gym.  Absolutely no experience is necessary, though dance or music training can be helpful.  Those attending the workshop will learn the basics of spinning a flag, dance basics, and two short routines.  Anyone attending Stagg in the fall of 2016 can attend.  All paperwork will be handed out at the first workshop.  Attendance at all four days is not required but is encouraged.  Questions can be directed to Missy Pietruszynski, the guard director, at mpietruszynski@gmail.com or Kate Alstadt at kalstadt@d230.org.
