Strangers Offer Kids Money Near School Bus Stop: Palos Hills Blotter
Palos Hills police have assigned a special patrol in the area after two children said some strangers asked if they wanted money.
PALOS HILLS, IL — Palos Hills police have placed a special patrol near a school bus stop after two people offered some children money, reports said.
Two children were walking home from the school bus stop after school on Feb. 23. They encountered two people sitting in a parked car in the 7800 block of 101st Place. The occupants asked the children if they wanted money.
Police said the kids ran home and told their mother what happened, who called police. A special patrol has been assigned to the area during bus pick-up and drop-off times.
