Meeting topic to recognize the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War with a veteran of that war as speaker

Swallow Cliff Chapter, NSDAR November, 2014 Meeting

The Swallow Cliff Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 15, at the Palos Heights Public Library, 12501 S. 71st Avenue, Palos Heights. The speaker will be Ted O’Connell, Silver Star recipient, who will talk about his Vietnam experiences.

The NSDAR is a non-profit, non-political organization dedicated to preserving American history, securing America’s future through better education, and promoting patriotism. Membership in the DAR is a unique opportunity to honor one’s lineage and heritage as a descendant of a patriot of the American Revolution.
