Kennedy is a wonderful representative of the young leaders that we love to have in Palos Park. I never doubt that she will continue to do great things and go far in life. Kennedy is a very successful student athlete who dedicates a lot of hours to her studies and to her talent as a high-level competitive gymnast for the organization USA Gymnastics. My daughter was in competitive dance and ice skating, and I know very well the level of commitment that is required at that level. It takes a special person to make it happen. Kennedy is also a member of the National Junior Honor Society which my daughter was in too. Kennedy is a kind, giving and cheerful young lady. The Palos Park community is proud of her.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about your graduating student nominee?

Kennedy is an all-around good young lady. She comes from a solid foundation of love and morals. It's remarkable that she's able to juggle everything that she does at such a young age. I remember meeting her when she came to my house for trick or treating a couple of years and her smile was so bright. My wife and I follow her achievements through her parents and we smile with pride. She reminds me of my children who are now fine adults.
