Cops: Teen Caught with Drugs in Crawl Space of Home He Broke Into
The teen had busted in through a basement window, according to police reports.

A Crestwood teen was found with a controlled substance Jan. 5, in the crawl space of a home he had broken into, according to Palos Heights police reports.
Jake M. Stakas, 19, of the 5700 block of West 129th Street, Crestwood, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, criminal trespass to property, criminal damage to property and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police responded to a call about a break-in at around 7:50 p.m. from a resident on Shadow Creek Circle, the report stated. When police arrived, they found Stakas hiding in the crawl space after he had allegedly entered the house by breaking a basement window, the report added.

Police also recovered a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia on Stakas, the report stated. The controlled substance was not identified in the police report.
