Thomas T. Georgas, “May his memory be eternal”.

April 21, 1946 – July 11, 2022

Thomas T. Georgas passed away on July 11, 2022. Loving husband of Lynda (nee Bargas) for 33 years. Thomas was born in Chicago to the late Theodore & Constantine Georgas and is brother of John, the late Helen (late Dr. William) Godellas, the late Evans (Angeline/Becky) Georgas.

Thomas served in the army with the rank of Sergeant. He was a Vietnam veteran and did one tour of duty. Thomas was a true patriot.

Thomas worked for peoples Gas as a welder for many years. He was an owner of Pullman Wine & Liquors in the Roseland Area.

Thomas was in the Brotherhood of Masons. He was a member of Hellenic Lodge #1084. He served as Master of the Hellenic Lodge in 1986. As a Mason, he also did charitable work for the Shriners.

Thomas was known to be the loving, “cool” uncle to many nieces & nephews. As well as a loving supportive brother-in-law.

He will truly be missed by all.

Visitation Friday, July 15th from 3 until 8 p.m. with a Trisagion prayer service at 5:30 p.m. at the KERRY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CARE CENTER, 7020 W. 127th Street, Palos Heights.

Family & Friends will gather directly on Saturday, July 16th at Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 11025 S. Roberts Road, Palos Hills for visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service, 11 a.m.

Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery in Orland Park.
