Thousands Left Without Power In South Suburbs During Polar Vortex

ComEd has reported outages in villages and towns throughout the south suburbs as dangerously low temperatures have hit the area.

As we face the coldest temperatures that have hit the area in years, a number of south suburban residents have had to deal with the additional hardship of not having electricity. ComEd has reported thousands of outages throughout the morning on Wednesday. As of 11:30 a.m., many residents have remained without power. Here's a look at the number of customers affected by town in the south suburbs at that time.
