Trinity Christian College Named 'Best Midwest College' By US News
Trinity Christian College lands in top tier of 2019 best regional and best value colleges by US News & World Report.

PALOS HEIGHTS, IL -- US News & World Report for 2019 named Trinity Christian College among the best regional colleges in the Midwest. The private Palos Heights college was ranked 21st among Midwest regional colleges in this year’s survey. Trinity Christian College was also ranked in the top 25 for “Best Values”colleges in the Midwest. U.S. News also recognized Trinity for its high percentage of international students. The college is continually ranked in the top tier among Regional Colleges—Midwest by U.S. News & World Report.
“At Trinity Christian College, we believe that the world needs well-educated, passionate, prepared college graduates, and we focus on getting our students ready to lead in whatever field they are called to and wherever that calling might take them,” President Kurt D. Dykstra said in a news release. “We are pleased that U.S. News & World Report has recognized how our students are equipped to make a difference in their organizations and companies, communities, and in the world.”

The U.S. News rankings are based on qualitative and quantitative information in several categories, including peer assessment, graduation and retention rates, faculty resources, admissions selectivity, financial resources, and alumni giving. The “Best Value” ranking considers the ratio of quality to price; percentage of undergraduates receiving scholarships or grants; and average discount.
Trinity Christian College boasts an undergraduate enrollment of 1,107. In a statement provided to US News, the college described itself as a “community of Christian scholarship committed to shaping lives and transforming culture” offering a “challenging academic curriculum in the liberal arts, education, business, and pre-professional programs.” Tuition and fees for the 2018-2019 school year is $29,950. Trinity tied with Indiana-based St. Mary-of-the-Woods College for the 21 spot.
