Unwanted Phone Lines Added To Palos Hills Resident's Cell Phone Account

PALOS HILLS, IL—A Palos Hills resident said someone added new phone lines to their existing Verizon account, reports said.

A resident walked into the Palos Hills police station on April 3, to report a deceptive practice with their cellphone account, reports said.

The resident told police they received their latest bill from Verizon, which showed five lines added to their account. Police said the resident did not authorize the new accounts.

According to the report, the resident said they lost their driver's license a month ago, which may have something to do with the fraud.
