Woman Kicks Cops Answering Complaint For Her Loud Music: Police

Neighbors complained Palos Hills woman was playing loud music all day when she kicked cops answering noise complaint, prosecutor said.

PALOS HILLS, IL —A Palos Hills woman kicked and shoved police officers when they went to her home for a noise complaint, prosecutors said. Sandra Moubacher, 50, appeared before Cook County Judge John Mahoney on two felony counts of aggravated battery to a police officer. She was also charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors.

Officers went to Moubacher’s home in the 8200 block of Chestnut Drive on Oct. 29 after neighbors complained she had been playing loud music all day, according to the charges. Moubacher allegedly shoved the officer standing at her door. The prosecutor said Moubacher kicked another officer in the face and also tried to spit at them.

The assistant public defender requested an order to photograph Moubacher’s cheek, who claims she was smacked by a police officer.
