$200,000 Lottery Win For Park Ridge Resident

Two winners split the $400,000 prize.

PARK RIDGE, IL — “I’m so happy!” Bart Iskra said after winning a $200,000 Lucky Day Lotto prize. The lucky Park Ridge resident’s Quick Pick ticket matched all five numbers – 12 - 15 - 23 - 26 - 44 – in the Friday, June 9, midday drawing.

Iskra discovered his $200,000 win when he checked the winning numbers on the Illinois Lottery website. He plans to invest the money. He bought his ticket at Minuteman, 4901 S. Central Ave., in Stickney. The retailer received a bonus of $2,000, or 1 percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.

Two winning tickets split the $400,000 Friday, June 9 jackpot. The other $200,000 winning ticket was purchased at Mare’s Mini Mart & Deli in Chicago. More than 11,600 players won prizes ranging from $1 to $200 in this Lucky Day Lotto drawing.Lucky Day Lotto drawings are twice a day, seven days a week.
