• Illinois payer to shutter Medicare Advantage business in 24 days - Becker's Payer Issues (beckerspayer.com) — A Park Ridge–based insurer, Clear Spring Health, is shutting down its Medicare Advantage plans nationwide, ending coverage for more than 12,000 members on May 31. While the impact is spread across several states, local residents with these plans will need to find new coverage as the company winds down after recent regulatory penalties and market exits.    

• Third Coast Symphony to Present Free Concert in Chicago With Copland and Saint-Saëns (broadwayworld.com) — Park Ridge’s own Civic Orchestra has merged into the new Third Coast Symphony, which will debut with a free concert in Chicago on June 14 at First Congregational Baptist Church. The program features Copland’s Appalachian Spring, Saint-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals, and more, with future performances planned in Skokie and at the Studebaker Theater.
