Park
Ridge, IL – April 28, 2014
– Park Ridge residents have new incentives to clean out their garages and
donate their used bicycles and tricycles.
On Saturday, May 3, the Park Ridge Friends of the Parks (PRFP) will conduct a used
Bike & Trike Exchange at the Maine Park Leisure Center (2701 Sibley Ave.) as
part of local Earth Day Fair activities.
In addition to being
tax-deductible and promoting re-use and community bicycling, donations will benefit
the Park Ridge Park District's “100 Trees for 100 Years” Fund and entitle donors to a 10% discount on the purchase of
another used bike at the Exchange.
