Join the American Cancer Society and “Pink Differently” to help create a world with less breast cancer and more birthdays at the Kick-off celebration for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on Thursday, April 4 from 7-9 pm at Park Ridge Country Club (636 N. Prospect Avenue, Park Ridge). Hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be served.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk is a powerful and inspiring opportunity to unite as a community to honor breast cancer survivors, raise awareness about steps we can take to reduce our risk of getting breast cancer, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society fight the disease with breast cancer research, information and services and access to mammograms.

The Park Ridge Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk is scheduled for Saturday, May 4 at Hodges Park. No training is necessary for this noncompetitive, inspirational event that raises awareness and funds to fight breast cancer and provides hope to all people facing the disease.
