The Park Ridge Garden Club will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, February 12 @ 7PM in the Centennial Activity Center, 100 S. Western Ave., Park Ridge. Speaker, Ann Baker explores how to blend native plants into an existing garden for beauty, balance and ecological health. Learn about the advantages of adding natives to improve the air, soil and water. We spotlight keystone species and consider the pros and cons of various native plants. Ann is a certified Environmental Consultant and Landscape Design Consultant, with a strong focus on horticulture and environmental education.
The PRGC welcomes anyone who is interested in gardening, the environment or sustainability to join the club. We offer monthly meetings from September through June on various topics plus opportunities to help beautify the community and different philanthropic projects. Meetings are open to the public.
