The Danish Home’s Share Your Spirit Sweepstakes

We are honoring the Scandinavian heritage with cash prizes.

The Danish Home of Chicago is commemorating an auspicious occasion as the retirement community kicks off its yearlong celebration of its 125th anniversary. “We are honored to have reached our quasquicentennial. It’s a milestone shared by few,” said Scott Swanson, president and chief executive officer of The Danish Home.

The “Spirit of 125” celebration, has begun with The Danish Home’s Share Your Spirit Sweepstakes honoring the Scandinavian heritage with cash prizes. “We encourage everyone to submit favorite recipes, stories photos, family traditions and more, as they relate to their Scandinavian legacy. The most creative entries will be shared on The Danish Home’s website and will be featured in our popular blog, The Hope Chest, which is seen by 10,000 readers,” said Swanson. “Participants will also be entered into our grand prize drawing for up to $500 cash. Family traditions are a way of preserving our heritage. We are excited to celebrate this, as we honor our own 125 year heritage.”

A series of anniversary events will be held through 2017. The Share Your Spirit Sweepstakes will continue until December 1, 2017. Entries can be posted via The Danish Home’s Facebook page www.Facebook.com/DanishHomeChicago. For additional information visit www.DanishHomeofChicago.org
