Early Voting For Park Ridge Elections

Early voting began this week for local Cook County elections, including Park Ridge's hotly contested mayoral race.

Residents can vote early at the Park Ridge City Hall, 505 Butler Place from Monday to Saturday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. The Cook County Clerk's website has a complete listing of early voting polling places.

"While turnout is usually low for the April election, the stakes are extremely high," stated Cook County Clerk David Orr in a press release. "The outcome of these races determines everything from education policy to local tax and infrastructure decisions. Voters should have their say at the polls."

Early Voting continues through April 6. There are 43 Early Voting sites in suburban Cook County plus the Clerk's downtown office, 69 W. Washington, Chicago.

Any eligible, registered voter can vote early. Voters can verify their registration using the Voter Information tool, a press release from the clerk's office states.

Early voters must display valid government-issued photo identification before voting, such as a current driver's license, state-issued ID or U.S. passport. Voters who cast a ballot during Early Voting may not vote on Election Day or vote by mail.
