Glenview, Ill.-based Edward R. James Companies, a premier developer and homebuilder in Chicago’s suburbs and the Midwest, announced the firm has received approval from the Park Ridge Planning and Zoning Commission for Brighton Mews, a 29-unit luxury townhome development in the heart of Park Ridge, Ill.

Jerry James, president of the Edward R. James Companies said, “Park Ridge is a wonderful community, with a vibrant downtown, charming neighborhoods, tree-lined streets, great proximity to Chicago and O’Hare, and of course, the nostalgic Pickwick Theatre. In addition, there are a bevy of shops and the new Whole Foods is just a short walk from our site. These are just some of the reasons we are excited about the homes we’re going to offer at Brighton Mews.”

“We are a big believer in pedestrian-friendly infill developments. They appeal to the lifestyle preferences that young and old are gravitating toward, as people seek to reduce their commuting times and make more out of each day. Brighton Mews will offer our buyers a chance to live in a great community with plenty of restaurants, shops, services and entertainment right down the street,” said James.

Sales for Brighton Mews is expected to begin in June, with construction to start thereafter. The first homes are expected to be delivered during the first half of next year. For more information on Brighton Mews, please contact Edward R. James Homes at (847) 724-0200 extensions 221 or 260.
