Electronic Recycling Event Proved Successful

The Park Ridge Chamber, City of Park Ridge, and the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County worked tirelessly this past Saturday.

The Electronics Recycling and Document Destruction event held on Saturday, October 15, at the Park Ridge Public Works Center unloaded a record 468 vehicles!

The Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce, the City of Park Ridge, and the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County worked together to put on this community event so residents could get rid of the unwanted electronics, textiles and documents.

A huge thank you to City employee, Mike McGrath, who continues to oversee the entire event each year!

To pull off a community event this size, volunteers from all over the community are needed and we couldn't have done it without all these volunteers:

When the whole community comes together to address community needs such as electronics recycling, it continues to make Park Ridge a wonderful place to live, work, play, and raise a family!
