Holiday Guide: Annual Christmas Tree and Wreath Sale

While shopping for your perfect Christmas tree stop by the Indian Scouts Foundation's annual sale to support a good cause.

Every year Park Ridge Indian Scouts and Indian Princesses provides a great way for Fathers to connect with their children. And once again, the Indian Scouts and Indian Princesses are providing a great way for you to connect with our community.

The annual Christmas tree and decorative wreath sale will begin November 25 and continue through December 23 at the Park Ridge Community Center, 1515 W. Touhy. Hours of the sale are weekdays from 4:30 - 9 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.

Money collected from the tree sales goes back into the community. Last year more than $22,000 was shared among various organizations.

Indian Scouts dates back to 1925 and serves as a way for fathers to connect with their sons and daughters, stressing relationship building, community service and a respect for nature.

The Park Ridge Indian Scouts Federation is divided into five nations (three Indian Princess Nations for dads and daughters, two Indian Scouts Nations for fathers and sons), consisting of a total 32 tribes. With 19 Princess Tribes for the girls and 13 Scouts tribes for boys.
