Klaus Winkler, of Park Ridge, brought his ivy geranium into Pesche’s on Friday because the leaves were getting yellowed.
Andy Cuautle, of Pesche’s, told Winkler the problem was getting water on the leaves.

“Geraniums don’t like water on their leaves at all,” Cuautle said. “Their leaves are shaped like a cup, and collect water, and too much water on the plant will turn the leaves brown.”
Cuautle told Winkler to water around the plant, and avoid getting water on the leaves, and that would resolve the issue.
