Interested in learning good speaking techniques? Come watch Park Ridge Toastmasters club members compete in 2 different speech contests.
The first contest, Table Topics, is an impromptu speaking contest. The contestants will not know the topic until they are called to speak. In the second, International Speech contest, contestants will present 5-7 minutes on any topic. The winner will compete at the next Toastmasters level, with the chance to eventually compete for the World Championship 2014 in Malaysia this summer.
Learn and be entertained simultaneously! Attendance is free. All are welcome.
