Learn How the IL Turnaround Affect You

An interactive panel discussion on the IL Turnaround Agenda.

By Jim O’Donnell

In 2012, Senator Dan Kotowski campaigned on ending business as usual in Springfield, casting himself as a fiscal hawk. Over the last few weeks, he has been at it again, spreading a similar message in local town hall meetings. Meanwhile, down in Springfield, for the second straight year, he has voted for a budget that is knowingly unbalanced. He also waxes eloquently about not allowing draconian cuts to areas like autism and education. Of course, he takes no responsibility for being part of the Madigan/Cullerton machine, and has voted consistently in his tenure in the Senate with their agenda that has underfunded those areas.

This is a call to action. I am tired of Senator Kotowski’s disingenuous message, and I am frustrated with the media’s attacks against the one person who is truly attempting to end business as usual in Springfield - Governor Bruce Rauner. Toward that end, I am inviting you to join me, along with Charlene Foss-Eggemann, Mel Thillens, and Susan Sweeney, as we host Dan Proft, Chicago Radio Talk Show Host at AM 560, and our panel of experts as we discuss the Illinois Turnaround Agenda. Get the inside story on what these policies really mean and what to expect next. Our panel will be taking your questions.
