Local eatery donates $5,000 to Maine Township food pantry
"We are very grateful for the generosity of Countryside and to our Township residents," said Laura J. Morask, Maine Township Supervisor.

Countryside Saloon and Grill recently donated $5,000 to the Maine Township Emergency Food Pantry. Raising funds from raffles held primarily during the Bears season for the last five years, this year the local eatery raffled off a Kris Bryant Cubs jersey, Bears memorabilia, Blackhawks tickets, and a 1991 signed Blackhawks jersey to reach that total. “We are very grateful for the generosity of Countryside and to our Township residents,” said Laura J. Morask, Maine Township Supervisor. Shown here are Joyce Solvig of Countryside, Carol Langan, Director of the Maine Township Emergency Food Pantry, and Janet Bar, owner of Countryside.
