New this year is On the Road: How Valuable Are Your Valuables Show
brought to you by Paxem, Inc. between 10:15 and noon. If you would like
to find out what your treasures are worth, you may bring one item for
valuation between 10:15 and noon. Please call 847-297-2510, ext. 252, to
reserve your spot. Reservations will be taken on a first come, first
served basis. According to Jennifer Prell, who operates Paxem, neither
Maine Township MaineStreamers nor Paxem, Inc. are liable for any
damages, theft, loss or disappointment. "All items are priced “fair
market value” for resale purposes only and not as official appraisals,"
she added.

Kicking off the fun, the popular Early Bird Bingo from 9 to 10 a.m.,
which is free of charge, will be hosted and sponsored by Maine Township
Supervisor Carol A. Teschky. Free caricatures by Mark Schultz, whose
quirky illustrations give people another way to see themselves, will be
drawn on a first come first served basis between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30
p.m. Known as The Man of Many Voices, John Trucali, who has been named
by reviewers as "The Italian Tom Jones," performs from 1 to 2 p.m.
"We
are again very pleased that our MaineStreamers senior expo continues to
be so popular and grows so steadily," said Teschky, who added that she
expects this 11th annual expo to be another one for the record books.
"About 10 years ago, we would see maybe 1,000 visitors, and then more
recently the crowd was rapidly approaching the 2,000 mark." An estimated
1,900 people visited the event in 2016 during the expo's five-hour run.
