Friends and supporters of The Center of Concern, a Park
Ridge not-for-profit that serves the elderly and others in need, are invited to
the charity’s annual Blarney Bash fund-raiser on March 8 at Chief O’Neill’s, an
Irish pub at 3471 N. Elston Avenue in Chicago.
Live music will include the Chicago Reel Band, the Shannon Rovers, and
the Identity Irish Dance Company, a group founded in 2006 at the University of
Illinois at Urbana-Champaign by alumni of such Chicago-area schools of Irish
dance such as Trinity, O’Hare, World Academy, Mulhern, Dennehy, and
others. Tickets are $45 per person ($40
per person with a group of six). Festivities
will include Irish food, a “split the pot” raffle, and a cash bar. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. To reserve tickets, call 847-823-0453 or go
