Martwick to host Capitol on Your Corner at Eisenhower Library

Senator Robert Martwick invites residents to attend a Capitol on Your Corner on Friday, Oct. 11 at the Eisenhower Library from 2 to 4 p.m.

HARWOOD HEIGHTS – State Senator Robert Martwick (D-Chicago) invites residents to attend an important Capitol on Your Corner on Friday, Oct. 11 at the Eisenhower Library (4613 N Oketo Ave, Harwood Heights) from 2 to 4 p.m.

"Government works best when it's driven by concerns and input from constituents," Martwick said. "I look forward to meeting new people and having a lively conversation about the needs of our communities."

To facilitate an open, ongoing dialogue with the people of the 10th District, Martwick has committed to regularly visiting towns across the district to meet with constituents and answer their questions as part of a program he's calling "Capitol on Your Corner."

Representatives from Martwick's office will be there from 2 to 4 p.m. to offer assistance, hear concerns and connect constituents with services and programs offered by the state.

Martwick will give an update on what residents can expect during the General Assembly's Veto Session. The event will also include informational training at 3:30 p.m. to help constituents learn how to become more involved in the legislative process.
