Nelson Automotive Challenges Park Ridge Community Fund

If you’ve ever wanted to make your good deed count twice as much,

You’re a person who truly understand that we need to take care of our own. So I know you’ll be excited to learn about a wonderfully generous promise from a young man here in Park Ridge for the third year in a row!

Eric Nelson, owner of Nelson Automotive, a Maine South grad and board member of the Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce, has promised this:

If the Park Ridge Community Fund raises up to $5,000 between now and December 31, 2013  -- he will match whatever we raise!

So if you’ve been waiting to donate or wondering where your gift will go farthest, I think you have the answer!

So many important causes ask for your support these days, but a gift to Park Ridge Community Fund will not only make a difference – it will make a difference right here at home. For more than half a century, through good times and bad, local business owners and residents like you have generously helped the Park Ridge Community Fund protect the well being of our community. With one convenient gift, you help a wide array of service organizations and care providers make life better, neighbor to neighbor.

The Park Ridge Community Fund is a locally-run 501(c)3 non-profit organization and all donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Your one gift supports local charities and non-profit organizations that provide rehabilitation, health care education, safe emergency housing and care for women and their children; support for the sick and their families; services to help seniors stay engaged and healthy, and activities to provide wholesome outlets for kids and teens. And that’s just the beginning!

To learn more about the many services your gift makes possible and to donate safely online, please visit www.PRCommunityFund.org. Eric Nelson is waiting to help make your gift of caring go twice as far this holiday season and beyond, so please donate before December 31.

And help a lot of nice people (including yourself) have a happier new year!

Gratefully,

Mary Wynn Ryan
