Nelson offers $7,500 matching grant to Park Ridge Community Fund

The Park Ridge Community Fund supports those who need it most within our community.

ERIC NELSON OFFERS $7,500 IN MATCHING GRANT TO PARK RIDGE COMMUNITY FUND

PARK RIDGE, IL – Eric Nelson, board member and past-president of the Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce, Park Ridge resident, and owner of Nelson Automotive, Inc. has offered $7,500 to the Park Ridge Community Fund to be matched by other PRCF donors this holiday season.

Nelson, a Maine South graduate and owner of Nelson Automotive in Mount Prospect, has already donated $60,000 to PRCF since 2012, as well as providing matching-fund incentives to encourage others to donate.

“I’m a product of our wonderful community, so I’m glad to give back to the Park Ridge Community Fund,” Nelson says. “I also appreciate that PRCF supports 29 different local social service agencies helping people in our area.” Nelson buys and sells used cars as well as services them. www.heycars.com

PRCF conducts fundraising campaigns and events throughout the year such as the movie “It’s A Wonderful Life” at the Pickwick Theatre on Sunday, December 9. Contributors may donate securely on the PRCF website, www.PRCommunityFund.org or by check to PRCF, 720 Garden St., Park Ridge, IL 60068. The Park Ridge Community Fund (PRCF) is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization that raises funds for charities and service agencies that serve the Park Ridge area. Donations are tax-deductible as provided by law, and funding decisions are made by a board of directors who live, work, or are connected to Park Ridge.
