O'Hare Locked Down Over Reports of Suspicious Package

Authorities put O’Hare Airport on lockdown Tuesday night after reports of a suspicious package in Terminal 3, according to a CBS Chicago report.

Police and fire crews investigated the package and tied up ground traffic until about 8 p.m. around the airport, the report stated. Ultimately, the “suspicious package” turned out to be a rice cooker left on a garbage can and wasn’t a a threat to safety, the report added.
