Park Ridge Maestro Bids Farewell to Orchestra He Founded 20 Years Ago

Park Ridge Civic Orchestra founder Edgar Muenzer conducts his farewell concert  Music Director Emeritus on March 12th.  He has selected Spanish music and Strauss favorites for his finale program.

All audience members are invited to a complimentary reception post-concert to greet Edgar and Nancy Muenzer who created their hometown orchestra 20 years ago.  The program includes DeFalla's 3-Cornered Hat, Rodrigo's Concierto d'Aranjuez for Guitar, and Don Juan and Der Rosenkavalier Suite by Richard Strauss.
