Man Stabbed While Walking Dog

A man was stabbed while walking his dog in the 1100 block of W. Devon Avenue on May 23 between 2 a.m. and 3:30 a.m.

Police stated that the man was approached by a man in his 30s wearing who was wearing a black hat and a black sweater. The man demanded money and when the victim refused the man pull out a knife and cut the victim's arm after a brief scuffle.

The man fled on foot.

Car Burglary

Someone  broke the rear passenger window of a 2008 Toyota van on May 23 in the 800 block of W. Touhy Avenue and removed a purse containing a Blackberry phone, credit cards and a checkbook.

Man Punched at Stoplight

A man was stopped at a stoplight at Touhy Avenue and Talcott Place when two unknown male subjects opened his door and began punching him in the face and head. The men then got into a tan or brown small pick-up that was stopped directly behind the man and left.
