Park Ridge Police Blotter: Retail Theft and more

The following information came from the Park Ridge Police Department. An arrest should not be considered a conviction.

Retail Theft

Marcin Tryba, 26, of Chicago, and Rikki Tryba, 21, of Chicago, were charged with retail theft on June 19. The incident occurred at Dominick's, 1900 S. Cumberland.

Police said store security saw the two individuals place items in a purse and attempt to leave without paying. The two were detained by security, but fled after a brief struggle, police said. Park Ridge Police attained a license plate and the two individuals were later charged.

Car Burglarized

Someone entered an unlocked 2006 Pontiac Vibe and took a book bag containing multiple text books and some prescription medicine. The incident happened in the 700 block of S. Washington sometime on June 20 or June 21.

Dish Towel Stolen

Someone entered an unlocked 2003 Toyota Rav4 and took a dish towel and headphones on either June 20 or June 21 in the 100 block of Gillick Street. The items were later found in a neighbor's yard.
