Park Ridge Police Blotter: Swing Set Taken From Yard
The following information was provided by the Park Ridge Police Department. When an arrest is referenced it should not be considered a conviction.
Ballistic Vest Taken From Jeep
Someone took a ballistic vest with a badge, a GPS unit and charger, sunglasses and a phone charger from a 2009 Jeep Cherokee in the 300 block Wisner Street on July 22 or July 23.
Car Burglary
Someone took sunglasses from a 1996 Honda Accord in the 2500 block of the Windsor Mall parking lot on July 24 or July 25.
Tire Damaged
Screws were placed under the front driver's side tire of a 1990 Chevy pickup truck in a parking lot in the 1800 block of N. Parkside on either July 24 or July 25. The tire was damaged.
Criminal Trespass
A witness saw a man in a 2003 Cadillac CTS. When the man exited the vehicle, he left on a bike with another man. The men were described as being in their teens and wearing dark clothing.
Tire Stolen
A spare tire was taken from the back of a 2008 Jeep Wrangler in a driveway in the 1800 block of Canfield. The incident happened on July 19 or July 20.
Bag of Tools Taken
A bicycle and a bag of tools was taken on July 23 from the bed of a 2009 GMC Sierra from the driveway of a home in the 1200 block of S. Delphia.
Swing Set Stolen
Someone went into a yard in the 500 block of Meachem on July 23 or July 24 and took a bicycle and a swing set.
