Report Your Flood Losses; There Might Be Help

Record all the expenses you incur because of the flood. If all of Cook County's losses meet a certain total, that might trigger some financial help. The deadline to report is Friday, April 26.

If you suffered flood damage in last Thursday's storms, it's important to record all your flood-related expenses and report them to the city of Park Ridge.

If all of the damages in Cook County reach a total of approximately $18 million, the county will apply to the Illinois Emergency Management Agency for disaster relief funds, if any are available from state or federal sources, according to Shawn Hamilton, the acting city manager.
