Sharps And Light Bulb Collection Resumes July 2

The City's monthly collection of prescription drugs, sharps and light bulbs will resume this Thursday, July 2 from 8:00 - 11:00 am at City Hall. Please enter using the rear entrance off Courtland Avenue. The front door of City Hall will not be open.

Monthly Bulb, Sharps & Rx Disposal
CFL bulbs or tubes (4 ft. or less)
Mercury Thermometers are also collected.

Please note that this program is for residents living in SWANCC (Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County) member communities only. Be prepared to show your I.D. when dropping off your items.

A drop box is also located inside the lobby of the Police Department at 200 Vine for the disposal of solid forms of prescription medications 24/7. PLEASE, do not place liquid meds or any sharps in this box.
