Emerson Middle School students received a special visit by professional woodwind players on Monday at band rehearsal. Park Ridge Civic Orchestra players Melinda Hoiland, David Tuttle, Chris Janzow Phillips, and Gwyn Downey held a woodwind clinic with the students, giving them tips and playing in the band with them. It was a great experience all. A brass clinic was held this morning at Lincoln School and a Cadet Band clinic is scheduled for the coming two weeks at Emerson.
