The Summit and Rainbow Hospice Present
“A Conversation About Dementia” Program Feb. 26
The Summit of Uptown and Rainbow Hospice and Palliative Care will present a community event for caregivers and families coping with a loved one’s memory loss on Feb. 26 at 5:30 p.m. at The Summit, 10 N. Summit Ave., Park Ridge.
If you are looking for information or guidelines on coping with the challenges of a loved one’s memory loss, join this conversation with other caregivers. We will discuss the ways in which dementia affects behavior and share information on how to support changing care needs. This conversation will be led by Nancy Flowers, LCSW, from Rainbow’s Life Institute for Learning.
There is no charge for the program but reservations are required by Feb. 22 by calling 847-825-1161, ext. 129. Light refreshments will be served. Parking is available in the city lots across the street. Attendees will:
• Understand the ways in which dementia affects behavior.
