What Did People Think About Hillary Clinton's Return to Park Ridge?
Supporters and critics chime in on the Democratic presidential candidate's first visit to her hometown since 2003.

Hillary Clinton still calls Park Ridge her hometown, but an adult political life spent between Arkansas, Washington, D.C., and New York has made some question how tight the Democratic presidential candidate's ties to the city are.
"Park Ridge: The Home of Hillary Clinton," Maine South High School alumnus Jack Carey posted on Twitter during Clinton's visit Thursday to Park Ridge for a closed-door donor fundraiser at the Pickwick Theater.

Carey, who shares an alma mater with Clinton, was one of the many residents, supporters, critics and political observers who commented on social media about the presidential candidate's return to Park Ridge. The last time Clinton was in town was in 2003 for a Barbara Walters interview.
Childhood friend Betsy Ebeling hosted Thursday's fundraiser in Park Ridge. Clinton also attended a fundraiser in Chicago, which was co-hosted by a group of African-American donors. Both events were closed to the press.

Although she was speaking to supporters, Clinton was greeted by a group of Polish protesters chanting "No more Clintons!" in Park Ridge.

Clinton's visit also inadvertently disrupted business for a local wedding photographer who works out of the Pickwick building.
