An estimated 7.4 million Americans age 65 and older, including an estimated 250,600 in Illinois, are living with Alzheimer`s disease in 2026, a number that could grow to 13.8 million nationwide by 2060, without medical breakthroughs.

1 in 5 women are at risk for developing Alzheimer's, a risk earlier screening under the ASAP act could identify sooner.
